EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The entire project report consists of four parts. The first part is introduction part where we discuss project background, project requirement, objectives, literature review, review of supplied documents, site visit, project impact and project schedule. And the second part is analysis and design here we discuss about design consideration, preliminary design, analysis of alternate solution and final design. And the third part is project planning here we will see how much the entire project will cost. And the final part is conclusions. This is an analysis and design report of a pedestrian bridge which will be constructed over the Rampura Khal. As a result, we have chosen places A and B for the bridge. The team did a thorough survey, visited the site, and made site selection decisions in order to choose the best location for the site. Then we gave those areas' societal and environmental impacts some thought. To design the bridge, we adhered to the AASHTO code and AISC manuals. The chosen region was around (151.0768' x 20') in size. The bridge has undergone a thorough investigation against dead load and live load in compliance with the criteria, despite its irregular shape. The design team has also established the shape of the subsurface foundation. The soil was not good where it was. As a result, the design team created the piling foundation for the building. The BOQ was exhaustive to give the owner a thorough idea of the project's cost, a cost estimate is finished at the end of the report. |
