In this study fifty five (91 %) were married. seven (37%) did not receIve education and received primary education. of the H.S.C. and 10% were patients LDL in 12 patients (20%) were near optimal level. concentrations in (47%) patients were in borderline. patients (30%) were at high level in terms LDL concentration. (3%) patients were at high risk level. concentrations of 28 (46%) were near optimal level, 26 patients (43%) were in borderline 4 (7%) were at risk two (4%) were at level. Total Cholesterol level of 16 (26%) patients was in level, 25 (42%) patients were in borderline level in terms of their total cholesterol. Total cholesterol level of fifteen (25%) patients was at high risk level and only 4 (7%) patients were at very high risk level. The results of the study suggest that myocardial infarction may be associated with hypercholesterolemia and also other modifiable and non modifiable risk factors. en_US
