Abstract:
This paper examines the laws to examine the existing legal framework and policies
concerning women prisoners' rights in Bangladesh in light of the different literature and
authorities with a view to exploring What are the existing laws and policies related to women
prisoners' rights in Bangladesh, and to what extent are they being implemented effectively. The
purpose of the research is to find out the answers to the different questions arising out of the
matters Women Prisoners' Right in Bangladesh: Laws, Flaws and Realities. For better
understanding and exploring the answers and findings, the paper has been divided into six
chapters; the first three chapters deal with all secondary research questions involving relevant
preliminary concepts and national and international legal framework related to Women
Prisoners' Right in Bangladesh and the rest chapters deals with the main research questions
involving Realities of Women Prisoners' Rights in Bangladesh. The paper will explore the
answer to every research question with the help of relevant books, journals, statutes and case
laws.
