| dc.description.abstract | All non-liquid wastes are referred to as "solid waste" in this context. Waste management is the term used to describe the procedures that must be followed to keep waste under control from the time it is created until it is disposed of. Managing the day's rubbish has given all officials headaches right now. The control of many processes, such as waste collecting, rubbish sorting, storage, transportation, processing, and disposal of collected waste, is referred to as trash management. It entails taking action to reduce waste through resource efficiency, waste reduction, waste material recovery, and reuse. Poor trash disposal practices impede the development of integrated solid waste management in households. Knowledge of current behaviors and views of home solid waste management is necessary for accurate decision-making in the transition to a more sustainable strategy. A cross-sectional survey with a stratified random sample approach was used to collect the data. This paper presents the characteristics of household solid waste and waste management practices in Aftabnagar, Dhaka. | en_US |
